European & International Orders Policy

This European & International Orders Policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions and Delivery Policy of Beautizone UK.

By placing an order for delivery outside the United Kingdom, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out below.


1. International Shipping Overview

Following the United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union, orders shipped from the UK to EU member states are treated as international imports and may be subject to customs procedures upon arrival.

As a result:

  • Customs clearance may be required

  • Import VAT may be payable

  • Customs duties may apply

  • Courier administration or handling charges may be charged by the delivery provider or local customs authority

These charges are imposed by the destination country and are outside the control of Beautizone Ltd.


2. Import VAT, Customs Duties & Taxes

International customers are responsible for complying with all local import laws, regulations, taxes, and customs requirements applicable in their destination country.

Depending on the destination and order value:

  • Import VAT may be charged by local customs authorities

  • Customs duties may apply

  • Additional taxes or import fees may become payable

Customs thresholds, rates, and import rules vary by country and may change without notice.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, all prices displayed on our website exclude:

  • Import VAT

  • Customs duties

  • Local taxes

  • Courier administration or customs handling fees

These charges are payable solely by the customer.


3. Courier Handling & Administration Charges

Couriers and customs agents may apply additional processing or administration fees when handling international shipments.

Such fees:

  • Vary by country and courier

  • Are determined independently by the courier or customs authority

  • Are not controlled by Beautizone Ltd

Beautizone Ltd is unable to advise on the exact amount of such charges in advance.


4. Country-Specific Import Restrictions

Import laws and restrictions relating to cosmetics, beauty products, hair products, and personal care goods vary between countries.

Customers are responsible for checking local import regulations before placing an order, including:

  • Product restrictions

  • Quantity limits

  • Licensing requirements

  • Personal-use limitations

Failure to comply with local import requirements may result in:

  • Customs delays

  • Refusal of entry

  • Return of goods

  • Seizure or destruction by customs authorities

Beautizone Ltd accepts no responsibility for losses arising from non-compliance with destination-country import laws.

Any country-specific guidance provided by us is for general informational purposes only and may change without notice.


5. Refused, Returned, or Undeliverable International Shipments

If an international order is:

  • Refused by the recipient,

  • Returned due to unpaid customs charges,

  • Returned due to import restrictions, or

  • Undeliverable for any customer-related reason,

then:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Return shipping charges, customs fees, or courier costs may be deducted from any refund

  • Refunds will only be considered once the goods are successfully returned and inspected

Where goods are destroyed, seized, abandoned, or not returned by customs authorities or couriers, no refund will be payable.


6. Payment of Import Charges

Where import charges apply, the courier or customs authority may contact the customer directly before delivery to request payment of:

  • Import VAT

  • Customs duties

  • Administration or handling fees

Customers may receive communication by:

  • Email

  • SMS

  • Courier tracking portal

Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate contact information is provided at checkout.

Failure to pay applicable import charges may result in delays, return of goods, or disposal of the shipment.


7. Responsibility for Customs Charges

All customs duties, taxes, VAT, clearance charges, and import-related fees remain the sole responsibility of the customer.

Beautizone Ltd:

  • Cannot predict import charges

  • Does not collect foreign import taxes unless specifically stated

  • Cannot reimburse customs-related fees

  • Has no control over customs decisions or delays


8. International Delivery Services

Available delivery services may vary depending on destination country and parcel type.

European Deliveries

We may offer:

  • DHL Economy

  • DHL Express

  • Royal Mail International

  • Other tracked courier services

Non-European International Deliveries

International orders outside Europe are generally sent using tracked courier services such as DHL Express.

Estimated delivery timeframes are displayed at checkout where available but remain estimates only.

All international shipments are subject to customs clearance procedures.


9. International Delivery Delays

International delivery times may be affected by:

  • Customs inspections

  • Border checks

  • Import processing delays

  • Local postal disruptions

Beautizone Ltd is not liable for delays occurring after dispatch where caused by customs authorities, couriers, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

International shipping charges are automatically calculated at checkout based on:

  • Parcel size and weight

  • Courier selected

  • Delivery service level

Delivery prices displayed at checkout exclude any import taxes, customs duties, or clearance fees unless expressly stated otherwise.


11. Acceptance of International Shipping Terms

By placing an international order with Beautizone Ltd, you confirm that you:

  • Understand your shipment may be subject to customs clearance

  • Accept responsibility for any import taxes, duties, or fees

  • Accept responsibility for complying with local import laws and restrictions

  • Acknowledge that delivery delays may occur due to customs procedures

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not place an international order.
