Refund & Returns Policy

At Beautizone UK, we aim to provide high-quality products and excellent customer service. This Refund & Returns Policy explains your rights and obligations when purchasing from us and is designed in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.


Order Processing & Dispatch

We aim to process and dispatch orders on the same working day or the next working day, subject to stock availability, payment authorisation, and security verification.

Once an order has entered the picking, packing, or dispatch process, it may no longer be cancelled immediately. In such cases, customers may still exercise their statutory cancellation rights after delivery in accordance with this policy.

Delivery times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.


Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

If you are purchasing as a consumer online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, unless an exemption applies.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us clearly by email at:

within 14 days from the day after you receive your order.

Once you notify us of cancellation, you must return the goods to us within 14 days.

We will reimburse you using the original payment method used for purchase.


Conditions for Returns

To qualify for a return and refund, items must:

  • Be unused and unopened

  • Be returned in their original condition

  • Include original packaging, seals, labels, and accessories where applicable

  • Include proof of purchase, such as an order number or receipt

We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount if the value of the goods has been diminished through unnecessary handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a retail store.

Items returned used, opened, damaged, incomplete, or without original packaging may be refused or subject to a partial deduction where permitted by law.


Non-Returnable & Exempt Items

For hygiene, health protection, and safety reasons, certain products cannot be returned once opened, used, or unsealed, unless faulty.

These include:

  • Hair extensions

  • Human hair wigs

  • Ponytails

  • Braiding hair

  • Closures and frontals

  • Opened haircare or beauty products

  • Cosmetics and makeup products

  • Personal care items

  • Intimate or sanitary goods

  • Gift cards

  • Health-related products

  • Flammable or hazardous goods

  • Clearance or sale items marked non-returnable

Where hygiene seals or protective packaging have been opened or removed, the right to cancel may no longer apply under Regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.


Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery where reasonably possible.

  • Your order number

  • Clear photographs or videos of the issue

  • Photos of the outer packaging and parcel label where applicable

Once reviewed, we may offer:

  • A replacement

  • An exchange

  • A repair (where applicable)

  • A full or partial refund

in accordance with your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We may request return of the affected item before processing a refund or replacement.


Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.

Refunds are generally processed within 5–10 working days after returned goods are received and inspected.

Please note that banking providers may require additional processing time before funds appear in your account.

Original delivery charges are refundable only where:

  • the entire order is cancelled within the statutory cancellation period; or

  • the item supplied was faulty, damaged, or incorrect.


Delivery Charge Deductions on Returns

Where an order qualified for free delivery or promotional shipping, and the customer later returns the order for a refund for reasons other than fault, damage, or error on our part, we reserve the right to deduct a contribution towards the original outbound delivery, packaging, and handling costs incurred.

In such cases, a deduction of up to £6.99 may be made from the refund amount.

This deduction does not apply where goods are confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.


Exchanges

We replace items only where they are faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, subject to stock availability.

All exchange requests must be authorised by us before goods are returned.


Returns Procedure

Returns must be authorised by email before being sent back.

Approved returns should be sent to the address provided by our customer support team.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, damaged, or supplied incorrectly.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we cannot guarantee responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit during return shipping.


Refused Deliveries & Uncollected Parcels

Where a parcel is refused, uncollected, or returned to us due to incorrect delivery information provided by the customer, we may deduct applicable return courier charges and handling costs from any refund issued.


Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you experience an issue with your order, we encourage you to contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the matter promptly.

Where chargebacks or payment disputes are raised, we may submit relevant evidence to payment providers, banks, card issuers, Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal, or dispute resolution services, including:

  • Order confirmations

  • Tracking information

  • Delivery confirmation

  • Customer communications

  • Proof of dispatch

Fraudulent, abusive, or unjustified chargebacks may result in refusal of future orders and/or reporting to relevant payment processors.
